WE DELIVER HOPE

The Upper Cumberland Human Resource Agency aims to improve the quality of life to residents of the 14-county area. Our vision is to create a new direction to move people from dependence to independence. Our motto, “Delivering Hope” serves to remind us that everyone needs help-everyone can help.

Our mission is to promote a strong sense of community and family values by administering programs designed to provide tools, knowledge and resources to improve the quality of life, promote a positive sense of individual self-worth, encourage responsible decision making and provide opportunities for individuals to become productive and independent.

Judith's success storyElderly Nutrition - A Success Story

“My whole life changed last year when I had a severe stroke. I am now unable to move the left side of my body and I am confined to a wheelchair”, Judith Pritchett tells us. She is not able to cook or clean for herself. ”As I have no family, Meals on Wheels has made a real difference in my life. For most of the week, I don’t have to worry about how I am going to eat. They deliver hot nutritious meals to my home. I really look forward to seeing them. It is a highlight of my day!” When we see the difference made in the lives we serve, it makes our day too, Miss Judith!
